Chai

Went to Starbucks today to get some work done for school. There were a couple of other photos I wanted to post but B wouldn't let me so they are on my leftover page. It was a difficult math day. I did have fun with the macro setting tho!

You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.

Sorry, I am having trouble posting....9 megapixels and a true macro. I have always like fuji's fixed lens cameras. This seems like a nice one. Are you enjoying it? I have to go get some chai now...is Starbucks still open at 11?

Great picture! I love the composition and angles. I am jealous of the camera too :)

Is anyone getting tired of hearing me gush about creative talents revealed in these photo blogs?! I can't stop ~ the photos are just too good. I'd never think to use an angle like this, but it looks great. I don't think I could get this close, either, even with my macro mode...

I always enjoy your choice of subject matter. A little quirky and fun, and very attuned to a 'story' going on. These last two fit into that description to me, even though they are just simple objects. Have fun with the new camera...is this a wave of new cameras going on? You, Carol,....who else? Maybe once we all start taking photos we'll all start to realize how much we need really good equipment!

I really like that quote! Sounds like a great day to me--a book and tea (chai or otherwise).

Is this with your little new camera? I love it.

Margaret was saying on Wed. night that she's fascinated with close ups. I've been noticing big, far away things.

I love this close-up of the Starbucks with the little Christmas wrap which will change shortly.
