Leaving

Life is a train of moods like a string of beads; and as we pass through them they prove to be many colored lenses, which paint the world their own hue, and each shows us only what lies in its own focus.

Okay, Nikki, I just have to ask . . . Are you taking a picture then finding a quote, or picking the quote first and finding a picture for it? These are wonderful!! (both the pictures & the quotes) At one time I started making my own quote book. I wonder if I still have it . . .

Thank you Katrina! I am taking a TON of pictures every day, picking the one I like for the day, and then finding the quote. Altho I do have some quotes I want to use and just need to find the right day and photo to use with them.

I love the photo/quote combo!!

Great photo, by the way.

I'm learning that it takes a lot of photos to find the one that really speaks to you THAT day. I got a memory card today, so I'll be able to store more photos. I only had memory for 7 pics before I got the card. Are you taking your camera every where and just snapping away?

My camera goes everywhere and it's pretty big. We're supposed to be getting a new one that's more compact that will fit in my purse. I'm snapping all the time tho. :-)

Great picture! And I am more and more impressed with your ability to find the perfect quote!

I found myself feeling self conscious the other day at the farmers market and the dog park taking a bunch of pictures. I have got to get over it if I want to have offerings that come close to everyone else's!

Good idea to combine quotes.

Nikki, when I check your I alway think you could be putting together one of those day-by-day inspirational calendars. I can't wait to check in at least once a day to see the picture and quote!

Nikki, this one is a visual feast! The row of electric poles and tracks give such depth. And I love how you got not just the end of the train but the rest of it curving off to the left. It really emphasizes the "Leaving" theme. And then the quote is perfect!
