Vineyards

The challenge is a month of black and white photos. I'm not sure I can do it, but I'll give it a shot. These were taken in vineyards near my house.

Drink wine, and you will sleep well. Sleep, and you will not sin. Avoid sin, and you will be saved. Ergo, drink wine and be saved.

Excellent quote and photos. I love the craggy vines. Do you have to use a program to change them to b/w or does your camera have a special setting? And, did you make up this challenge yourself or is it from the 365 website or elsewhere?

What do you mean by "the challenge"? And I'm wondering, too, how you converted these to black and white...

I could use the camera but I'm using iPhoto instead to change it to b&w. That way I can change the contrast a little as well.

The challenge is from selfportraitchallenge.net - where the original self-portrait challenge came from. I think the challenge is supposed to be a month of b&w self-portraits but I'm only going to attempt regular photos.

These are excellent, it seems an ideal location for B&W, it seems called for there!

I like these. Probably more powerful in b/w than they would have been in color, don't you think?
