I found this chair in someone's trash the other day, sanded it down and reupholstered it. It's not beautiful but I like it and it was free! You can help keep garbage out of landfills by using things again and again. ~ Margie Burton
I can already tell apartment living is going to be trying to my soul. I see everyone's "trash." Yesterday I was absolutely flabbergasted to see several (at least 5) of the U-Haul furniture pads in the compacter! I couldn't reach them, even with a stick, and was afraid to climb in with no one there to help me out if I got stuck. Those things were in great condition, and I imagine someone was very sorry when U-Haul informed them how much they owed for the pads. SURELY if they'd bought them they'd not have dumped them. I hate waste.

Good job - it looks great. The photo is great too - love how light and airy it is.
I really like it -- such crisp lines. Great find.
