Purple Rain
I know... stupid title. I couldn't resist though. It never rains in Southern California in the middle of July so it needed to be documented. It feels like the mid-west with the humidity and the clouds. Very strange.

It didn't get south enough for us but should tomorrow. I love rain in July. :)
OOo, good photo. I like the overall blue effect. Is that just a geranium that's been filtered into being blue? Whatever it is, I like it.
Beth - I don't know if you'll see this or not but it's called a plumbago. I don't know if they exist in the south but they are all over the place around here. I just love them.
