Solitude

I was driving down the road the other day and came across an empty lot with this field of flowers. I had to turn around to grab a few shots. I'm sure the traffic passing by me thought I was nuts.

Being solitary is being alone well: being alone luxuriously immersed in doings of your own choice, aware of the fullness of your won presence rather than of the absence of others. Because solitude is an achievement.

nuts in a good way!
both shots are so vivid and I love the feeling of lying in the field of flowers that the first one imparts to me.

Gorgeous! Love the bright blue of the sky juxtaposed with the bright yellow of the flowers. The bottom one especially is bee-yoo-tiful!

It's photos like this that make me realize how much I love the yellow and blue combination. This is just beautiful.
