Beverly Hills

I had a job last weekend shooting in Beverly Hills of all places. It was fun to see how the other half lives, but I don't think I could do it. I also came across these great 70's presets for Lightroom. I probably overused them, but I couldn't help it. This one is called "Muskrat Love"... isn't it great??

The kids and I went to downtown LA today to catch a performance art act called "Strange Fruit" from Australia. They were really fascinating to watch.

Shepard Fairey

I attended a great art show last night in Riverside called Sea No Evil. All the proceeds went to benefit the Sea Shepherd Society, a group that is working on stopping the whaling industry (as well as protecting all other marine life. Captain Paul Watson was there and gave a very inspirational speech on some of his adventures in the last year trying to stop the Japanese whaling ships.

Some of the artwork featured was by Shepard Fairey (the photo below is him signing one of his pieces). He also dj'd part of the evening. It was quite a night.



These guys are so gentle, it's like shooting a puppy dog. I don't see how there's any honor in that.
