Power
We had an unexpected power outage tonight. They don't happen very often around here! I was glad though because it gave me a good photo op - eating dinner by candlelight. I probably should have cropped it, but I just want to post.

A very cozy photo! I hope it isn't cold enough there for you to need heat during the outage.
I've photographed food, and I've photographed candles, but never thought to photograph them together! :-)

Like Beth, a painting was the first thing I thought of too. The specific picture is like you second one, but it is Jesus breaking bread after the ressurection. I looked for it, but couldn't find it. Really nice shot.
It looks great as is, uncropped - you're all sort of 'floating' in the dark, I like it! And I agree, it's very cozy. We've had some really good times when the power's gone out, maybe it's too bad it's more reliable in this house :)
