Library

This is what happens when I go to the library for one book...

The library connects us with the insight and knowledge, painfully extracted from Nature, of the greatest minds that ever were, with the best teachers, drawn from the entire planet and from all our history, to instruct us without tiring, and to inspire us to make our own contribution to the collective knowledge of the human species. I think the health of our civilization, the depth of our awareness about the underpinnings of our culture and our concern for the future can all be tested by how well we support our libraries.

I am at the library right now! I've got my stack. The electricity is out at our house, so I'm checking the 365's from here. ;-) Love book photos!!

Boy, do I understand this! (Kind of like "if you give a mouse a cookie...". Nice stack. Is A Wrinkle in Time for you or for one of your children? That's one I'd like to reread.

That's funny! The same thing happens to me when I try to get one book at the library. :)
