Window

On a walk today I fell in love with this window. I wanted to be in that room looking out through these beautiful purple and yellow drapes watching the people on the street walk past looking at me.

Our senses are indeed our doors and windows on this world, in a very real sense the key to the unlocking of meaning and the wellspring of creativity.

The colors are great, but they also look light and airy...and with the sun shining in they DO look very inviting!

It's sort of mysterious with the parted drapes and the black background.

This picture looks like something out of a storybook or a play... very intriguing!

Oh wow, I love it too! I look at decor like this and I love it when someone else does it, but can't seem to do it myself. I'd just love to visit ;)

Also, I love your self-portrait from Wendesday, it packs a lot of feeling into so simple a photo.

Now, I'd really like to see the interior. What kind of furniture and style goes with purple and gold curtains, I wonder. Fun photo!

Purple and gold mean either of two things to me: the University of Washington Huskies, or Mardi Gras (without the green). Interesting to see those colors in window curtains!
