I went out today in the drizzle to get some photos of these beautiful wildflowers growing in an empty lot by my house. I stayed out for over an hour and shot 84 pictures of the same flowers over and over. A little obsessive, I know. I had my iPod, tho, and listened to one of my new favorites -

Sometimes I enjoy just photographing the surface because I think it can be as revealing as going to the heart of the matter.

I can understand getting lost in taking a picture of one flower!
I love the detail on the top one, it is very intriguing.
