And, what's this type of photography called? I swear I read about it at some point and the fact that this style is supposed to make things look slightly unnatural and like a miniature movie set. Does it have something to do with tilting the photo?
Dalissa - it's called tilt-shift and it usually takes a special kind of lens. This one just turned out this way. I set the camera on the ground and had the aperture at 2.8. I focused it on the rock and that's what happened.

It does look like tilt-shift. And fairy-like as well ~ looks like a LOTR scene.

Tilt-shift! Thank you... I never would've remembered that and then I would've had to have asked the resident expert... lol.
