We've started going to my brother's "game day" with his friends. It's every month or so and it's a lot of fun, although I am the only female in the group. This was not the best game of the day, but it was the only time I remembered to take a picture!

This is one of my favorite paintings and my only real nicely framed print in the house so I thought I'd show it off.

We did a presentation at a local photo club on Tuesday, basically telling them all about Faded & Blurred and why we're doing it. It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I hate public speaking.

I went out to shoot tonight in the rain and it started to clear as the sun set. I got some photos of the actual sunset, but I loved how the light was hitting the telephone wires.

My niece is getting married next month and Sunday was her shower. I can't believe she's old enough to get married... she's the same age as my son!

We went to the Art Walk in Pomona last night and this was pretty much the only picture I took all day.

My favorite trees around here bloom in February. I have no idea what they are so if someone knows, feel free to fill me in. I have to take pictures of them every year though.

We went to a swap meet in Havasu on our way home and found this wonderful typewriter. The sticker said $20, but as we were looking at it the guy came over and said he would take $15. It is in immaculate condition with a case and all of the paperwork. A 1954 Smith Corona with italic type (I've never seen a typewriter with italic type). I think this may be the start of a new collection!

I went for a walk at sunrise this morning and couldn't resist the mirrors hanging on this post. You can see from the reflection that there is nothing for miles.

We drove out to Yucca, AZ yesterday to visit J's dad for his 70th birthday... this is definitely out in the middle of nowhere. :)
