Is it simple?

The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult and left untried.

And C.S. Lewis said, "...it's no good asking for a simple religion. After all, real things are not simple. They look simple, but they are not."

And Aquinas said of the truths of Christianity, "..a mouse can wade in them, but an elephant can swim in them."

(Sorry about the deleted post...too many typos!)

Maybe the basics can be simple to understand, but it's the living it out that's difficult?

I started reading his book "Orthodoxy" a few years ago and found it very thought provoking, but I also developed the habit around then of not finishing every book I start.

Not so simple, but I did like this book :)

I thought it was simple enough... too simple. Missed the inherent complexity of faith.
