Maybe the basics can be simple to understand, but it's the living it out that's difficult?
I started reading his book "Orthodoxy" a few years ago and found it very thought provoking, but I also developed the habit around then of not finishing every book I start.

Not so simple, but I did like this book :)
I thought it was simple enough... too simple. Missed the inherent complexity of faith.
